Kozhikode : The casualty doctor Dr. Bharat Krishna of Nandapuram Taluk hospital was assaulted by two patients at 12 am. One of the assailants was a patient and was having complain of plugged ears and the doctor prescribed medication and the nurse on duty administered nebulizer to the patient. Meanwhile the person accompanying the patient demanded that the same medicine be given to him as he had the same issue. When the nurse informed them that an OPD ticket was required for the medicine they started creating ruckus in the hospital. Dr. Bharat tried to intervene and was assaulted by the group. The police has registered a case against the miscreants.
