Siwan, Bihar: A disturbing video showing an Ayurvedic practitioner allegedly performing a Caesarean section in shockingly unhygienic conditions at a private clinic in Siwan has gone viral, triggering widespread public outrage and calls for official action.
The practitioner, identified as Kanchan Kumari, is seen in the video conducting the high-risk surgical procedure in what appears to be a makeshift room devoid of basic medical safety standards. The room looks more like a storage space, and Kumari is reportedly seen without a surgical mask or cap—key components of sterile protocol during any surgery.

The video was initially posted by a dermatologist on social media platform ‘X’, who goes by the handle ‘The Skin Doctor’. The dermatologist harshly criticised Kumari for performing the C-section in conditions that blatantly violate universal safety protocols and infection control norms.
In a scathing remark, he added:
“A gynaecologist, who can’t even spell the word ‘gynaecologist’ correctly, is performing a C-section in what appears to be a storage room.”
Kumari had labeled herself a “gynelogist” on her Instagram profile, a misspelling that further raised doubts about her professional training and legitimacy.
