
The Madhya Pradesh government has approved the establishment of 50-bed AYUSH hospitals in 12 districts. To ensure smooth operation, the cabinet has sanctioned 373 permanent posts and 806 human resource service positions under various categories. A 30-bed AYUSH hospital in Barwani district has also received approval for required staffing. The sanctioned posts include 52 in Class-1, 91 in Class-2 and 230 in Class-3 categories.
National AYUSH Mission to Manage HR Services
The cabinet has approved a total of 806 contractual human resource services, including 91 in Class-2, 117 in Class-3 and 598 in Class-4 categories. These services will be managed under the National AYUSH Mission, which aims to strengthen traditional healthcare infrastructure across the state.
Changes Approved in PM Krishak Mitra Surya Yojana
Important amendments have been approved in the ‘Pradhan Mantri Krishak Mitra Surya Yojana’. Farmers will now be allowed to receive a higher-capacity solar pump than their originally approved connection capacity. For example, a farmer with a 3 HP connection will now be eligible for a 5 HP pump, while a farmer with a 5 HP connection can opt for a 7.5 HP solar pump.
Mission Vatsalya Schemes Extended for 5 Years
The cabinet has also approved a five-year extension for various schemes under Mission Vatsalya, including sponsorship, foster care, adoption, and financial assistance for children in need. This extension aims to ensure continued support and protection for vulnerable children across the state.
Extension of Child Care Institution Support
Under the revised approval, financial aid and manpower support for child care institutions operating across Madhya Pradesh have been extended. The government aims to strengthen the institutional framework for child welfare through long-term policy stability.
