New Delhi: Renowned Ayurveda expert Acharya Balkrishna has been conferred with the prestigious ‘Vishwa Ayurveda Ratna’ award at the Earth Awards 2026 held at UNESCO House in New Delhi. The award was presented by the Net Green Foundation in recognition of his significant contributions to promoting Ayurveda on a global scale.

A distinguished Sanskrit scholar, Ayurveda researcher, and author, Balkrishna has played a key role in popularising traditional Indian medicine worldwide.
