Bengaluru : The cybercriminals constructed a website dedicated to kidney trade in which the identity of a Bengaluru based gynecologist was misused. The gynecologist on coming across the website has lodged a complaint with the North East CEN police station at Bengaluru. The gynecologist in her complaint has said that her name has been utilized on the website to create the illusion that she operates the kidney transplant center. The name of gynecologist has been utilized by the cybercriminals to create an impression of the website being authentic by unsuspecting individuals.
The website named “ Kidney Transplant Center” says that if you are facing financial issues you can trade your kidney and receive Rs. 6 crores. The site further says that selling one kidney would not have any affect on your life and after procedure you will regain health and vitality. The website says that it gives 50% after the individual registers for donation and 50% after the donation. The website does not provide any physical office address but provides WhatsApp number which directs to a chat box with business account.
