New Facility Strengthens Tertiary and Quaternary Healthcare Capacity in Delhi-NCR With Advanced Robotic Surgical Technology
Max Smart Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, has inaugurated a new 400-bed tower, marking a major expansion of its tertiary and quaternary healthcare capacity in the National Capital Region। The facility was inaugurated by Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah।
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta as the Guest of Honour। Delhi Government Health and Family Welfare, Transport and Information Technology Minister Dr Pankaj Kumar Singh and South Delhi Member of Parliament Ramvir Singh Bidhuri were also present at the event।
Max Hospital Saket to Have Around 1,200 Beds
With the addition of the new tower, Max Hospital Saket will have a total capacity of approximately 1,200 beds, making it the largest private hospital in Delhi by bed capacity। The hospital provides tertiary and quaternary healthcare services across more than 22 specialities, expanding access to advanced medical treatment for patients from Delhi-NCR and other parts of India and abroad।
The new facility is designed to address the growing demand for specialised healthcare services and strengthen the hospital’s ability to provide technology-enabled clinical care।
Advanced Robotic Surgical Technology Added
The new tower is equipped with advanced medical technologies, including the Da Vinci Xi Surgical Robot and Mako Total Knee Replacement Robot। These technologies are intended to support precision-driven and minimally invasive procedures across various medical specialities।
The expansion is expected to strengthen the hospital’s capabilities in complex and specialised interventions while supporting the delivery of advanced clinical care.
Max Healthcare Expands Integrated Healthcare Ecosystem
Max Saket is a key part of Max Healthcare’s integrated healthcare and medical education ecosystem, which has more than 42,000 employees।
