The upcoming directives will stress social accountability, adherence to national health priorities, and a clear mandate for medical professionals to refrain from any anti-national activities within their workplaces.

These guidelines will specifically warn against involvement in activities deemed harmful to national security. Officials confirmed that the move aims to preserve the integrity of the medical profession at a time when severe allegations have surfaced.
Clarification on University Registration and State Jurisdiction
On concerns about the registration status of Al-Falah University, sources clarified that the matter falls under the jurisdiction of Haryana authorities. As the university functions under the Haryana State Private University Act and offers several non-medical programmes, the final decision regarding its overall status will rest with the state government.
Future of Medical College Hinges on National-Level Probe
The fate of Al-Falah Medical College remains uncertain as national agencies continue their investigation. Sources informed ANI that the NMC will determine the institution’s future based on findings shared by the central government and the state authorities. Admissions Continue Amid Serious Allegations
Despite the unfolding investigation, the institution recently completed admissions for all 150 MBBS seats for the 2025–26 academic session. The last round of counselling took place on November 13, just two days after the tragic car blast near the Red Fort that claimed 13 lives and injured several others. Authorities noted that student upgrades and choice-based allotments left 15 seats vacant, which were filled during the stray round.
Multiple Agencies Examine University Operations
Al-Falah University is currently under scrutiny by the NMC, NAAC, NIA and the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Investigators are probing alleged links between some doctors and the suspected terror module, as well as money-laundering concerns following the chairman’s arrest. The investigation intensified after it emerged that Room 13 of Building 17 — occupied by the main accused and two other doctors — was allegedly used as a planning base for the blast.
Arrests, Detentions and NAAC Notice Escalate Concerns
Following the discovery of the suspected module, several faculty members and doctors were arrested or detained. NAAC has issued a show-cause notice to the university, questioning why it should not recommend withdrawal of NMC recognition for its medical programmes.
