The Medical and Health Services Recruitment Board (MHSRB) issued the official notification on Friday, following the directives of Health Minister C. Damodar Raja Narsimha.
Strengthening Rural Healthcare
The fresh recruitment drive is expected to significantly boost specialist strength in district hospitals, area hospitals, and community health centres. Officials said the move will make speciality medical services more accessible in rural areas, reports Hans India.

Call for Annual Recruitment
Earlier, as reported by Medical Dialogues, the medical fraternity in Telangana had urged the government to introduce annual recruitment drives for doctors and faculty in government medical colleges. Experts argue that structured hiring would address the faculty crunch and prevent disruptions in medical education and healthcare delivery.
