Makrana: In a tragic incident, Dr. Narendra Meena, Director of UMA Hospital, Makrana, succumbed to a sudden cardiac arrest, leaving the medical fraternity in deep shock.
A distinguished AIIMS alumnus, Dr. Meena completed his MBBS from the prestigious institution and dedicated his career to advancing healthcare at UMA Hospital. His untimely demise has sparked an outpouring of grief from colleagues and medical professionals across the country.
Confirming the news on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), a doctor expressed condolences, stating,
“Dr. Narendra Meena, a renowned medical professional and Director of UMA Hospital, has sadly passed away due to sudden cardiac death. May he rest in peace.”
This incident echoes a similar case reported last year when a senior resident doctor from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital, Delhi, also passed away from a heart attack while on duty. The rising cases of sudden cardiac deaths among young medical professionals continue to raise concerns about stress and workload in the healthcare sector.
