Saran (Bihar): An 11-year-old girl was allegedly raped inside a private hospital in Bihar’s Saran district on Friday. Police have arrested the accused, who worked as a compounder at the hospital.
Incident Inside Washroom
The girl had been admitted due to food poisoning. Police said the incident happened when she went to the washroom, where the accused allegedly followed her and committed the crime.
Family Alerted Police
The matter came to light after the girl raised an alarm, informing her family. Police reached the hospital soon after and started an investigation.
Case Registered Under Strict Laws
According to SSP Vineet Kumar, a case has been filed under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
