Notice to109 doctors for skipping duty

Raipur : The Health and Family Welfare Department in Chhattisgarh has issued notice to 109 MBBS doctors posted as Contract Medical Officers across government hospitals. The notice asks them to join the duty at their  respective place of posting within two days, an official communication said. The Chief Medical and Health Officers of several districts had intimated the Health Department that 109 such doctors are absent from their workplace. The department then issued the notices. If the doctors fail to respond, disciplinary action will follow.
