MP government surgeon suspended for asking bribe for treatment

Guna, MP: The divisional commissioner suspended the surgeon from Guna government hospital based on the report of district collector of Guna. The official said that the government surgeon of Guna demanded money for treatment from patient. The patient filed a complaint with the collector of Guna Amanbir Singh who directed the tehsildar of Guna to conduct an enquiry on the allegation of the patient. In the investigation, the tehsildar found prima facie evidence of the surgeon asking for money for treatment from the patient. Based on the findings of tehsildar report, the district collector forwarded it to the divisional commissioner who suspended the surgeon till the enquiry is completed.
