Manipur Violence : Health ministry rushes team of doctors to manage public health services

New Delhi : The ongoing strife in Manipur has led to the health ministry rushing several teams of doctors to support Manipur public health services with immediate effect. As per the statement issued by the health ministry six teams of doctors with four doctors each specializing in surgery, psychiatry, medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatric, urology and emergency care will support the state to provide health facilities which has been severely affected and adversely impacted due to the ongoing violence in the state. The teams consists of doctors from AIIMS, Kalyani & Guwahati and NEIGRIMS, Shillong.
