Madras HC directs govt. to appoint doctors in Ramnad Govt College

Madurai: The Madurai division bench of Justice R Suresh Kumar & Justice G Arul Murugan, while considering a petition for appointment of doctors in the trauma care center of Ramnad Govt College directed the govt fo appoint doctors in Ramnad Govt College within a period of 2 months.

The petitioner I Kalanthar Ashik Ahamed has filed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) seeking appointment of doctors in trauma care center of Ramnad Govt College. The petitioner in his PIL has pointed out that he has made representation to the authorities seeking to appoint doctors in trauma care centre to treat emergency cases arising out of accidents in and around Ramanathapuram. The bench directed the govt to make the appointment and disposed of the petition.
