Kolkata: In New town, a doctor who is the owner of a private nursing home was arrested on charges of raping an 18 year old nurse and holding her captive in his chamber for days. As per the nurse she had joined the nursing home 2 months ago. The nurse alleged that she was called by the doctor in her chamber and raped. Subsequently, she alleged that the doctor forcibly locked her in the chamber and threatened her to kill her if she discloses the incidence to others. After 5 days of being held captive she managed to escape from the chamber and narrated the incidence to her family members and she lodged the complaint against the accused doctor. The doctor has been arrested and the nurse underwent a medical test.
