Progress on Construction
- PMPMCH Talcher: The construction, funded by Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) at an investment of around ₹500 crore, is now complete. This project started in April 2016, covering hospital, medical college, hostels, and residential complexes.
- Phulbani Medical College: Built at a cost of ₹548 crore over 50 acres, this facility is nearing completion.
Admissions and Seat Expansion
- The National Medical Commission (NMC) approval is awaited to begin MBBS admissions for both colleges, with an expected 200 seats per college.
