Victim Alleges Sexual Assault and Blackmail
The case stems from a March 23 complaint filed at Hazira police station, Gwalior, by a woman from Uttar Pradesh. She accused Pushpendra Rawat of raping and blackmailing her with explicit videos. She further alleged that when she became pregnant, Pushpendra’s family forced her to undergo an illegal abortion at KD Hospital, where Dr. Manu Sharma and Dr. Rajesh Sharma performed the procedure against her will.
Multiple Accused on the Run
The police have registered a case against Pushpendra’s sister, Reena, and brother, Arvind Rawat, along with BJP leader Dr. Manu Sharma and her husband. All accused are currently absconding, and a manhunt is underway.
