Dubai:
Dubai will host the third International AYUSH Conference and Exhibition from February 15 to 17, 2026, aiming to highlight traditional medicine systems as authentic and reliable healthcare alternatives.
According to a statement released by the Indian Consulate in Dubai, the event will bring together practitioners, policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, and students from across the globe to deliberate on the growing role of traditional medicine in modern healthcare.
As reported by PTI, the conference is being organised by the Science India Forum, a voluntary organisation dedicated to the propagation of science, in collaboration with the World Ayurveda Foundation. The event will be held under the patronage of the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, and the Consulate General of India, Dubai.
The conference seeks to position Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) as credible and evidence-backed healthcare systems for disease management and holistic well-being. The theme for the 2026 edition is “Evidence-based AYUSH Interventions in Mind-Body Health.”
Several global AYUSH bodies, including the Global Homoeopathic Foundation (GHF) and the Emirates Ayurveda Graduates Association (EAGA), along with other international organisations, are associating with the Science India Forum for the event.
The conference is expected to witness ministerial-level participation from the Indian government and will be attended by over 1,200 delegates from more than 35 countries, reflecting the growing international interest in traditional Indian systems of medicine.
The event follows a series of global initiatives by the Ministry of AYUSH to promote traditional medicine, including the signing of multiple country-level Memorandums of Understanding and the upcoming celebration of the 9th Siddha Day on January 3, 2026, in Chennai.
