Navi Mumbai: Dr. Anil Badrinath Kadia, a 34-year-old doctor from Thane, was arrested for his involvement in a fatal accident on Palm Beach Road near Kopri. The incident occurred on Sunday morning around 6:30 am, resulting in the death of two women who were on a scooter.

- The victims were colleagues at a BPO in Turbhe MIDC and were telecallers working the night shift from 8:30 pm to 6:30 am.
- After their shift, Khokale was dropping Pandey home when their scooter collided with Dr. Kadia’s Skoda.
- The accident occurred as the scooter was on Kopri service road, about to enter Palm Beach Road towards Bonkode.
