New Delhi : Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested Dr. Manish Rawat, the Associate Professor in the department of neurosurgery at the Safdarjung Hospital, one South Delhi based businessman and three middlemen in the “cash for treatment” racket. The modus operandi was such that the middlemen used to tell attendants of the patients on behalf of the doctor that they could manage an early appointment if they paid a bribe and if they agreed to procure the instruments required for the surgery from a particular shop.
