Bribe for referring patient : Divisional Medical Officer held

Chandigarh : The Haryana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) held Dr. Rohit Kundu, Divisional Medical Officer of Northern railway while accepting bribe of Rs. 5 Lakhs from the complainant Naveen. Dr. Kundu has demanded Rs.15 Lakhs from Naveen in lieu of referring patients from the Railway’s hospital to the complainant hospital and forwarding the bills of the patients to the higher authority for sanctioning it. The accused doctor was held red handed by the ACB while accepting Rs.5 Lakhs from the complainant.
