Patna: The Bihar State Health Society has launched a recruitment drive to fill 2,619 Ayush Doctor vacancies in Ayurvedic, Homeopathy, and Unani specializations. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website shs.bihar.gov.in between December 1, 2024 (10 AM), and December 21, 2024 (6 PM).
Vacancy Details
- Ayurvedic Doctors: 1,411 posts
- Homeopathy Doctors: 706 posts
- Unani Doctors: 502 posts
- Total Vacancies: 2,619
Eligibility for Out-of-State Applicants
Candidates registered outside Bihar can apply but must secure registration with the Bihar State Ayurvedic and Unani Medical Council or the Bihar State Homeopathic Medical Council during certificate verification. Failure to meet this requirement will lead to disqualification. The cut-off date for this criterion, previously set for October 1, 2024, has been relaxed.
Age Criteria
Candidates must be at least 21 years old as of October 1, 2024. The maximum age limits are as follows:
- Unreserved/EWS (Male): 37 years
- Backward/Very Backward Classes (Male & Female): 40 years
- Unreserved/EWS (Female): 40 years
- Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (Male & Female): 42 years
Remuneration
Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹32,000.
