According to Sanjay Jivrajani, Chairman of the Gujarat Ayurvedic and Unani Medical System Board, Ayurveda has seen remarkable growth since 2014 under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership:
✅ Rise in Ayurvedic Colleges – From 9 colleges in 2014 to 42 institutions today.
✅ Increase in Ayurvedic Doctors – From 300 trained doctors in 2014 to 3,000 per year in 2025.
✅ Jamnagar as a Global Ayurveda Hub – Strengthened as a center for Ayurvedic research and medicine production.
Jivrajani emphasized that Ayurveda is gaining global recognition, and the conference will serve as a platform for knowledge-sharing and technological integration in Ayurvedic medicine.
