GMCH doctor and student attacked after patient dies during CT scan

Nagpur : Dr Shubham Mahale (JR, Surgery), Dr Prachi Agrawal and Dr Rahul Agrawal (both JR, Radiology) and a BBMT student were attacked by patient of relatives who died during CT scan. According to reports a patient named Kamlesh Yadav was admitted to the hospital in a critical condition with stomach ailment. After seeing the patient’s condition, the attending resident doctor first stabilized him with CPR, then took him for a CT scan but he died during CT scan. On getting information about the death of the patient, the relatives attacked and assaulted the three resident doctors and the student of BPMC. The police reached the spot but since the doctor refused to lodge a complaint an FIR could not be lodged.
