On the occasion of World Health Day 2026, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed heartfelt gratitude to healthcare workers and reiterated the government’s commitment to strengthening India’s healthcare system.
Taking to the social media platform X, the Prime Minister acknowledged the tireless efforts of doctors, nurses, and frontline workers, stating that their dedication continues to play a crucial role in building a healthier society.
“On World Health Day, we express our gratitude to all those who dedicate themselves tirelessly to the service of others and work towards a healthier planet,” he said.
He further emphasised the need for collective efforts in improving public health infrastructure and ensuring well-being for every citizen.
